JAZZ
INTRODUCTION
Jazz is a musical style that became more prominent in my later years. Many years of playing and listening to blues and rock music, jazz became an appreciation later on in my life. I first started listening to the sounds of Django Reinhardt, as his 'swinging' music, was an extension of the bopping blues that I was accustomed to. I later became very interested in 'Cool Jazz, 'Jazz Fusion', 'West Coast Jazz', and other jazz genres. As improvisation was becoming more prominent in my won music, so was my interest in jazz. I really started taking more interest into Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Charles Parker, and Benny Goodman. Below are some of my favourite jazz musicians and their music, it's a genre that I will slowly keep upgrading, and adding other musicians that influence me.
